The Home and School committee at Parkview Junior Academy serves to strengthen the relationship between our school and its families. We do this through planning various social events throughout the year like game and skate nights and our annual Fall Festival. We also have fun with fundraising—bake sales, citrus fruit sales, and more! One event we look forward to the most each year is our International Food Festival. We have a very diverse school and church community and we enjoy celebrating different cultures with this event. We are well-known in the area for the large rummage sale we hold each year. Funds raised this past year were used to purchase 1) a refrigerated, filtered drinking fountain to improve the quality of the drinking water for our students, 2) an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and 3) supplies to complete our playground refurbishments to paint our older equipment and resurface the ground under these play areas. We look forward to interacting with our students and their families this year! Go to our calendar to see what programs and events are scheduled.

A new storage shed was delivered on September 27! Our current shed is deteriorating quickly and we were in need of a better place to store Home and School supplies and items for our annual Rummage Sale. The shed was purchased with funds raised last year by Home and School and donations from Mr. Fred Burghardt and his wife, Dr. Beth Cady Burghardt and another anonymous donor. Praise God!
